Restoration works for the 1968 C3 Corvette Stingray are now completed.

Right at the beginning of May 2013 the restoration works have been completed. In the meantime the local technical permission to use the car on the roads of Germany and Europe was granted, as well as the special, historical license plate. Now the 1968 Corvette Stingray Convertiblke will be back on the road again.

At the end we have decided not to use the planned target color "NASA-GOLD" but a slightly more lighter Gold, that gives the Corvette even more elegance. You can find new, after restoration road trip pictures at the PICTURE GALLERY.

Very soon you will find here the last detailed images about the finished Corvette restoration.

For an interesting comparison you may use this direct link, that will lead you to photographs of the C3 Corvette Stingray convertible, which were taken earlier in Venice, California and in Munich, Germany. When seeing those images you may not believe that a new restoration was necessary. But the early restoration pictures are a good proof that even a cheap paint job can cover a lot...
