'IVY'-RESTORATION
     
A NEW LOOK FOR "IVY" (Part 2)

The preparation phase for the paint job: the old color is stripped down to the bare metal, then several different layers of base, prime and ground coat were applied. It still takes some time and work before the new green-metallic paint and the clear finish can follow.
(Soon you will find here a full documentation with lots of new images und information about the complete new restoration!)



Just a week later: new paint on the body.
However the artificial light at the paint shop does not yet allow
a true color rendering. So come back soon to see more images...
