"Ivy", our light green 1967 Mustang convertible, was just in to get a new paint job. A new look. When stripping down the old color to bare metal we found not only metal, but a lot of body filling compound. And more unpleasant surprises: wrong body panels, dilapidated doors and more compound everywhere. That seems to be somewhat normal in the States, but is far off our German standards.
We do not know, if the "Boss" was aware of those problems or if he just has a sense for hidden secrets. But the Boss is a wise man, who probably just ignored that question to be on the safe side, as it did not really affect the great look of the car.
So a new phase of thorough body restoration became necessary. Here you can already admire Ivy's new color. Now, as the restauration is finished, she not only has a great new look, but she really surprises with the attributes of a brand new car! You are invited to verify this impression by surfing Ivy's picture gallery. There you can also compare 'New Ivy' and 'Old Ivy'.

On the next page you can see Ivy under re-construction.
